We arrived in Nabire after a few more false starts and stops at the airport and a NICE stop at the Sheraton Airport Hotel swimming pool just before we boarded the 7 (?) passenger plane that flew us to Nabire. Paul got the back seat with the luggage, K and J in the front row, squeezed in behind the pilot. A few locals also heading over to the little village of Nabire. A smooth and uneventful flight. J fully enjoyed it, looking out the window and entertained the whole 1 hour flight. Nabire is a little beach town with no beaches and no surf. The sea comes up to the edge but no beaches and we’re on the wrong side of things for surf. We are going swimming soon though.
We’ve also met the other climbing team also here waiting on the helicopter. Andres and Andy from Austria. Andy is a blind climber doing the 7 Summits. Andres is his eyes for the climb. Very interesting and funny guys! More on them later! This keyboard at this internet shop is old and dirty and hard to type on. Paul just found wireless so we can add more easily later tonight.
Jordan says its hot and humid here. I am sweating! lots of mopeds. more later. Thanks for following along on our adventure.

Woo hoo, adventure in the air surrounded by friendly Indo’s and beautiful places!
Have a blast!
