Ice Climbing

The attempt at Nupste East turned into a severe indoctrination into vertical ice climbing and major lead climbing team work. Karen was following…which is a grip of work to manage 2 ropes, and many anchors to retrieve. It’s complicated and a bit intense. All the while, we are in the area of 23,000′, with heartrate through the ceiling and stress at a high level. All this is NOTHING like what it will be like going up Everest with Jordan…as he/we will be going up ONE fixed line/route up a well protected route….comparatively speaking. So, the stories and photos that will follow do not reflect well onto what Jordan does and will be climbing now and in the future.
Check photo link in coming days.

About Nepal….if more of the world were Buddhist, we’d have a lot more peace. There people are incredible.
