We apologize for the lack of details over the past 48 hours, but we were travelling light and we wanted to preserve our Inmarsat satellite phones to ensure we could call the whole way.
As I’m sure you noticed, the team changed the schedule and moved everything up one day. We punched through a “breezy” day to get to camp 2, where again…we modified our plans to hopefully achieve a quiet, non-crowded route. We planned a 5:30 pm start from Camp 2 and planned to skip Camp 3, only stop to change out oxygen bottles. Our sherpas had planted some there 4 days prior. We stopped briefly at midnight and then it was onto the summit.
When we arrived, we had the entire north face to ourselves, just our team. Near excellent conditions, light snow falling, and a pace and efficiency above what we could have expected. Everything went as planned.
So it’s all true, everything you’ve seen and read. Jordan not only climbed Mt. Everest, but he climbed with unbelievable strength and skill. When we arrived, here’s what Jordan said:
“Hello mom, it’s your son calling from the top of the world, everything’s ok. I did it.”, as Jordan shielded himself from the wind at 29,035.
Right now the team is back at the relative warmth and comfort at 21,000 of ABC.
More to come after we load the yaks…
Team Jordan

Wow…fantastic…huge congrats!!! I woke up to hearing about this on the Today Show yesterday…made my day.
Congratulations! I’m very much looking forward to see some pictures and hopefully some videos also!
Next: Vinson Massif huh?
Jordan and team:
My class is so very proud of you. It was unbelievable to track you as you were climbing. I’ve shared with my class your arrival to the summit and back. They cannot believe that you actually made it up. However, they see that anything is possible and that has given them inspiration to help further their goals and dreams.
I’m very proud of you and your team. Congradualations on the climb and I’m glad God put you in his hands to help you achieve your goal.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Pluff
Congratulations! OMG…you are amazing! We are SO happy for you and pray for a safe trip home
Thanks for filling in the story! So glad your return plans are going well.
Oh my gosh…I’m so happy for you all!!! When I found out about it on Saturday I was almost in tears!!! So proud of you guys and can’t wait to hear all about it! Congratulations…that is AMAZING!
you guys rock! Enough said. Jordan, your a stud.
So incredibly freakin’ cool. So proud of all you guys. Can’t wait to hear all about it. Safe travels home.
Hello Team Jordan, Absolutely incredible what’s going on. I posted a message on your Facebook page but with so many postings I am already way down the list. Basically I would like to send you a brand new product I just invented called LoopRope. It’s the most universal tie down on the planet. It flat eliminates the need for traditional bungee cords. There is a team headed to Kala Patthar that will be using LoopRope and I would like to send you some ropes as well as a sponsor. I would like to send you “Reflective Ropes” to try out and hopefully, if you like them, use on your trek to Antarctica. Please let me know if this would interest you as I am trying to get this new company and product off the ground. Thank you, Jeff Dahl
Thanks for the update and I am glad to hear you bagged the big one. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon.
Happy trails…
~*~ Om Namah Shiva!
Thank you for the update! So glad you made it up and back safely. Friday was such an exciting day for us here in Big Bear: knowing you guys were closing in on the Summit, and the Amgen Tour finishing at Summit, then getting the news that you did, in fact, reach the Summit! We all sped home and logged onto our computers to see the details. SO exciting! Thank you for the ability to “journey” along with you (from the comfort of our cozy homes). XOXO
You had an entire family from Connecticut rooting for your team to make it safely. There was a flury of phone calls on Friday night, when your GPS SPOT showed you approaching the summit. Congrats on accomplishing so much at such a young age. Can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the future.
Unreal!!! Congrats Team Jordan!!!
Calling your Mom, good job, don’t ever not do that.
soooo cool to read. I can only imagine the feeling when you reached the summit. Father and son together on that kind of adventure – Awesome job guys. Looking forward to speak to you when you´re back in US.
Cheers to the whole Team Jordan from Sweden

I just now saw your story on CNN.com! GOD BLESS YOU, Jordan, & everyone one the team! You’re AMAZING! This is the kind of story that should reach all corners of the earth & inspire everyone to be all they can be!!!
Be careful, take care, & GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
Thanks for the update! Jordan, I am sure you have one very, very proud mom. Congratulations again! Rest up before your big celebration! Wish we could make it there to join you! Alyse Rome and the Amazing Kids! Team
My 6th grade class is reading ‘Peak’ by Roland Smith and your summit climb on Mt. Everest came at the perfect time! Your experience and the adventures of the main character in ‘Peak’ are almost identical to one another! What a great connection for my students to have! We have been exploring you, your website, and your adventure throughout the day and have had a great time making our reading relevant to the world around us! Super job on your amazing climb!
That is the coolest thing. We are reading a book called “Peak” at our school, so we know a lot about the camps and stuff. Congratulations on making the summit! Maybe I should do that some day… no, I don’t think I could do that. Nice job!!!
Hey Jordan, Paul, Karen, absolutely awesome. Congratulations. San G will really be a cake walk now!
Congratulations with everything. I enjoyed the journey!!! Blessings for a very safe return to Big Bear.
Something is really wrong here. Too much time at ABC. We’re being fed info that is not frank.
Congratulations everybody! Up to the top of the world and back to ABC safely! Take time on the rest of the journey on the mountain to savor the moment, you surely will have a ton of memories. Jordan, I hope some day I can meet you in person, as you are truly amazing! Now it’s on to next one! Ad Alta!
Congratulations Team Jordan! We stayed up with you until we heard you were safely back at Camp 2. It’s amazing how fascinating a blinking light can be. Wishing you a safe journey home.
Incredible Team! Congratulations
Congratulations!! Jordan and Team. Thank you for info. Have a safe trip down and home.
Great Job! No corners cut. You’re not done till you’re down.

incapable de faire ça à ton âge !WHAOU !
Qui est Team ?
Oh ! si tu ne comprends pas ce que j’ai écris tu peux traduire sur REVERSO .C’est un très bon traducteur .
Bye bye and CONGRATILATIONS !
awsome that is like the book we are reading.
I loved hearing about your terrific, heart-pounding story of how you climbed 7 mountains and plan to climb the tallest mountain in Antarctica this coming December. I and many others have been reading the book ‘Peak’ which is about a boy that climbs Mt. Everest like you did but you made ito the top and he unfortunetly didn’t.And for one thing i thought you were very mature as you went up the mountain or thats what your blog is telling me!!!:)
Congratulations you all, best wishes from Iceland
Congratulations, Jordan! I admire your courage and “never quit” attitude to fulfill your dreams. I learned of your many accomplishments after you conquered Mt. Everest. When I think about how young you are, I look back at my own life and often wonder, “what if?” You’re one of my heroes, young man!
mdr je suis la seule qui a écrit en français !!lol
