It’s been 6 years since I started this quest, and it’s brought me to the bottom of mother earth. I could never have done this without the support of EVERY SINGLE one of you friends, family and sponsors. Those of you that know me, know it’s not about the record. It’s about just going big, it’s in my blood I guess.

Everything goes in 4 hour increments.Weather in Antarctica is very windy and clouds down to the deck.
So, we’re waiting for noon phone call local time…We’ve banked up on fuel and must lost rest from the prep and travel.
Jordan banking up on sleep. Stay tuned, most likely for a FB update: Team Jordan on Everest and FIND YOUR EVEREST.-

Sooooo cool Jordan! That is an amazing looking plane. Looking forward to seeing what Antarctica looks like from your perspective. Safe travels!
Looks way too cold for me! Enjoy your adventure!
Following from Canada. Enjoy your flight on the big bird.
Hey JR. Actually I am sitting here at the moment contemplating of all things “climate change”. I live on the shore of Lake Ontario. And this will be the first year since I have lived in the area since 1969 that we do not have ice on the lake. I know that since 1989 the kids next door have had a big hockey rink on our bay and are playing hockey on it at Christmas…a week away. This year they could go FISHING in a boat. Something is going on. I spent some time in the past doing a documentary on the Greenhouse Effect and interviewed Susan Solomon a NOAA researcher for years in Antarctica and the evidence of the ozone hole and all that is pretty convincing. I just read yesterday that the most southern group of polar bears at the south end of Hudson’s Bay could be gone in 20 years. So I am more than a little interested in what you are doing Jordan. By the way I can see your plane waiting at Punta Arenas on the airport webcam. http://www.aipchile.gob.cl/camara/show/id/96
Have a safe ride (they fly those planes and larger Russian ones into the military airport 10 miles from me. A couple have clipped the trees coming in…lol. Thanks for asking. Take care and good luck man, john
FYI JR..your tracker and audio podcasts are working well from this end. john
Hey JR…Just saw your update regards being delayed until tomorrow. That’s a downer but these things are out of your control. So here’s hoping for favorable conditions ahead. My thoughts are with you, Paul and Karen. john
