The Find YOUR Everest Tour is about YOU. It’s about getting outdoors, being healthy, doing things as a family and setting goals. Team Jordan is highpointing the 50 States in a effort to meet kids, families and communities and share the message of the Find YOUR Everest Tour. Find your state and watch the schedule below as we tour the country, climbing each state’s highest peak. Pick a location and come climb with us.

Find YOUR Everest Tour –
Leg 1 (June 26 – June 29, 2011)

June 26 – Delaware – Ebright Azimuth, 448 ft.
Meet Up Time: 9:00 a.m.
Meet Up Place: Concord High School – 2501 Ebright Road, Wilmington, DE

June 26 – New Jersey – High Point, 1803 ft
Meet Up Time: 3:00 p.m.
Meet Up Place: High Point State Park It is at the top of the Kittatinny Ridge on Route 23. The park headquarters are 2.7 miles north of the small town of Colesville, NJ, and 6.0 miles south of Port Jervis, NY. There is an A.T. trailhead a few hundred feet south of the park headquarters on the west side of the road.

June 27 – Massachusetts – Mt. Greylock, 3491 ft
Meet Up Time: 12:00 p.m.
Meet Up Place: Thunderbolt – Trailhead The trailhead can be reached by traveling south on Highway 8 from the town of North Adams. On the northern side of the town of Adams, bear right onto Friend Street, follow this Friend Street (which will become West Road), and then approximately 1.5 miles will be Thiel Road. Turn right onto Thiel Rd., pass through the Jaeschke’s Apple orchards and into the Geylock Glen. Thiel Road continues straight past the intersection with Gould Rd. and you can park at the end to access the Thunderbolt Trailhead.

June 28 – Rhode Island – Jerimoth Hill, 812 ft
Meet Up Time: 10:30 NEW TIME!!!!!
Meet Up Place: Jerimoth Hill is about an hour or so south of Boston, Massachusetts. The summit is off of Rhode Island Route 101. To get there, you would take I-395 to the 101 exit near East Killingly, Connecticut. Take route 101 East until you pass a small lake, below a big hill, and go to the top of the hill and there is a small sand parking area on the left, and the highpoint is across the road, on the right. In 2005, the Highpointers Club built a short trail to the summit, that you can take from the parking area to the summit without disturbing private property.

June 29- Connecticut – Mt. Frissel, 2380 ft.
Meet Up Time: 2:30 NEW TIME!!
Meet Up Place: AMC Parking next to the Massachusetts-Connecticut state line on Mt. Washington Road From the south: In Salisbury, Connecticut, go west on US 44 and then turn right on to Factory St. Shortly thereafter, you should bear to the right onto Mt. Riga Road. Mt. Riga road eventually turns into a gravel/dirt road and continues a couple of miles to Mt. Washington Road. Turn right onto Mt. Washington Road, and go 3.3 miles to the AMC parking lot on the right.
