Back at Team SOLE Base Camp in U.S.

It was a sight for sore eyes.

Pulling into the driveway and having Jordan standing there waiting for us.

We are showering Jordan with gifts and stories and soaking in the sweet and warm alpine air of Big Bear.

White Water paddling OFF the charts

Just rolled in to the relative calm that is Kathmandu.
You see, we just spent a day white water kayaking/rafting. Sweet river, Class 2,3,4’s…nice lunch by the river…

We are getting a bit of a routine down,  and gaining our weight back.

Had a LOVELY night out with some new friends, going to the 5 star Yak and Yeti hotel for an amazing dinner, watching a thunderstorm wreck havoc out doors.

Poor Super K has been rather bed ridden with a pretty radical stomach [...]

If I ever hear another…

Kid hauling225lb steel pipe

…person complain of hard work at home in U.S,…i just may go crazy.

This kid (below), was one of many, dozens of kids we saw hauling lumber and plywood up the Khumbu Valley.
I’m not talking across town…or from one hut to the next. I’m talking MILES. Many MILES….uphill …and oh yeah, [...]
