…..June 10 I leave for Anchorage Alaska. I’m beginning to get a little nervous about this one. The weather is still quite bad there, but there are people summiting right now. My dad’s old friend and teammate from Eco Challenge is named Jacques. He is a legend in Alaska and has a big home that we will stay at, and pack our sleds and prepare everything.

Hey little J…
You are climbing the mountain my puppy is named after. She is white and fluffy - just like the snow there. Hope you are sleeping nice in your high altitude tent and pulling that tire nicely up the mountain. Should you need a tougher workout, just have Super K sit in the thing. And maybe Sara. They might add some weight, but if you put on your cape like Superman, you’d have no problems running up the hill. You wouldn’t even be out of breath. Kele and I are wishing you the best. We hope to see you before you leave, but if not - we wish you the best! Give it all you have, and we will be thinking of you, J. You are the best.
We love you! izzy and kele
Needless to say that with the support of your Dad and Karen with you as part of Team Jordan as you depart for Alaska I know that your safety and welfare are in the hands of two proven adventure racers and climbers.
I look forward to celebrating with you when you summit Denali.

Hi Jordan, Greetings from Canada. Good Luck on your latest adventure. We will be watching your progress. We met you in Baja and were certainly impressed with your endeavours.
Say hello to Paul and Karen for us.
Hi Jordan,
How lucky am I to just happen to read your posting the day that you are leaving. Well, I couldn’t let the moment go by without telling you how proud I am of you and think you have such a great young spirit. In a day when our young people are heavily influenced by the wrong type of role models, you seem to rise above it all and you are becoming a great role model yourself. Keep up the hard work because it will payoff in so many ways, some of those ways you will not find out about until later in your life. Our good thoughts will be sent your way for a safe and memorable trip…
Yes, say hello to Paul and Karen for me too…
J,
You just left the house this afternoon and I am missing you already. I can’t wait to hear from you, follow your progress, share in YOUR SUCCESS and get you back in my arms safe and sound and kiss that curly head. Then I will be able to breathe a little easier. Can’t help it buddy, it’s a mom thing. You have always had ‘ROCKSTAR’ status with me!
Love you, love you, love you! Good Luck!
Jordan & team,
I am wishing you all a safe journey home, only 3 more to go, your success is admired. GREAT JOB!!!!
